ukactive and the DofE
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is ukactive’s charity of the year partner for 2016-2017. As part of the charity partnership, the DofE supported ukactive’s flagship event, National Fitness Day, on 7th September. As the most visible annual celebration of physical activity, National Fitness Day is about the fun of fitness, with the aim to move the nation.
ukactive is the UK’s leading not-for-profit body for physical activity, working with over 4,000 members and stakeholders across the UK to get more people, more active, more often to improve the health of the nation.
