OPEN GOLD EXPEDITION: The Boys’ Brigade, in partnership with the DofE's Dartmoor Assessor Network, are organising an Open Gold Expedition (journeying and exploring opportunities available) on Dartmoor during 21 - 27 August 2010. Based at Broadleas Camping and Training Centre, Haytor, Devon, and staffed by accredited assessors, this is an excellent opportunity to link in with other individuals and groups to complete a qualifying or full practice journey. North York Moors Open Gold Expedition: A chance to experience the open countryside and moors of North Yorkshire during this Open Gold week being organised by a team from the North Yorks Moors Expedition Area. Building on the success of last years Open Gold Expedition, the 2009 programme will operate from the recently refurbished Outdoor Centre at Carlton in Cleveland, North Yorkshire. Open Gold: Brathay Exploration Group. The Lake District has to be one of the most stunning locations in which to do your Gold Expedition. In the first week you will cover the skills necessary for operating as a team in the wild country area of the Lake District, including realistic practice expeditions.
