BIG CHALLENGE VOLUNTEERING: We are Big Challenge and we offer young people between the ages of 16 and 25 the chance to get involved in volunteering opportunities across the UK. Whether they be leading a project, with mentoring and funding support, volunteering as part of a local campaign or running our national programme, there is something for everyone! Two volunteering opportunities with Save the Children: Make a racquet for children and serve an ace this year by organising a FUNdraising tennis tournament to help us save children’s lives. ASTHMA UK is offering an exciting opportunity to take part in a residential weekend on 5-6 February 2011 in Manchester. It’s a fun and free event where you will learn about managing your asthma and how to help other young people with asthma as well as while finding out more about all the other volunteering opportunities available at Asthma UK. Volunteers must be over 18 and have asthma to take part.  Free ongoing training will be provided to help you develop your new skills and volunteering projects. It is an ideal way to start your Volunteering or Skills section, all expenses are paid and it's so much fun!
