First Youth Achievers Ball in Northern Ireland
Nine St John Ambulance Cadets were recognised for their volunteering efforts at the first Youth Achievers Ball.
The event was hosted by MLA Basil McCrea, supported by the Daily Mirror and was organised to recognise the achievements of Northern Ireland’s Young people. The Cadets enjoyed a drinks reception, canapés and entertainment from Cool FM.
The Cadets were among hundreds of deserving young people who attended the first annual Youth Achievers Ball on the 27th September.
Each youth organisation attending the ball nominated a champion achiever, and two lucky winners were then awarded with a fantastic luxury twin-cabin cruise.
With entertainment from the fabulous Micky Modelle and Swedish star Jessy, it proved to be a great night for everyone involved.
The night was also extra special as it was the first time in history that Stormont buildings had a fireworks display.
