The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is proud to announce the launch of the 2009 Young London Photographers Competition. In the past, the response from young people in London has been fantastic and it has been one of our most popular events. Once again focusing around the theme of young people in the city, we hope that 2009 can exceed the high standard of previous entries.

 

We are now officially accepting entries for the 2009 competition, which will be judged in July.

 

This competition is open to all DofE participants. This year there are two categories - Under 16 and 16-25. The theme for all entrants is 'Young London'. This can be interpreted any way you wish. Do not only consider young people as subjects but also a young person's perspective of the city. It can be positive, negative or abstract. The choice is up to you!

 

The closing date for entries is 6th July 2009.
