Role: Responsible for the management of the Region, communications with Head Office and development of theDofE in the Region.  Liaison with Government Office, Connexions and Learning and Skills Councils.

Each Operations Officer is responsible for the day to day support of several Operating Authorities in the Region as well as offering advice, support and training for DofE Leaders.  If you are not sure who you need to speak to, please call the office as they will be able to advise you.
 
Andrea Lynch, Office Manager - andrea.lynch@DofE.org 
Role: Andrea is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Midlands Regional Office, processing and maintaining the Gold Award system and dealing with any finance queries.
 
Olive Richards, Regional Secretary - olive.richards@DofE.org 
Role: Olive is the first point of contact for the Midlands Regional Office. Responsible for carrying out office administration and clerical duties, maintaining office records, filing and postal systems.

Open Canoe Expeditions: The Severn and Wye Area Network will be running a practice and qualifying Open Canoe Expedition for individual participants who wish to complete their expedition by canoe. These opportunities are open to competent canoeists only. Applications will only be accepted from individuals, whole teams will not be accepted.

  • Practice 28 – 31 May 2010 River Trent
  • Qualifying 24-31 July River Wye

Peak District Walking Open Gold Expedition Week 2010:
24th to 30th July 2010
Open Gold Expedition week providing an opportunity for completing a qualifying or full scale practice Expedition. There will be a range of Expeditions on offer including opportunities to concentrate on either exploring or more traditional journeying. The cost of the week is £130 inclusive of expedition food.
