Kate Thompson, Director - kate.thompson@DofE.org
Role: Kate has overall responsibility for the management and development of the DofE in Northern Ireland through dedicated staff, Northern Ireland Advisory Network and Liaison Committees, Operating Authorities and the wider DofE network.
Kate is a Gold Award holder and says doing her DofE changed her life. She is a keen hillwalker, traveller and photographer and a canoe/kayak instructor in her spare time.
Joanna Clarke, Operations/Development Officer - joanna.clarke@DofE.org
Role: Joanna supports the delivery of DofE programmes and is responsible for Expedition Assessor Accreditation and the delivery of training.
Joanna is a Bronze, Silver and Gold Award holder and joined the DofE from BELB where she was a Senior Youth Worker. She has a strong interest in and passion for the DofE. She is a keen traveller and has an interest in a range of outdoor activities.
Julie McGimpsey, Office and Communications Manager - julie.mcgimpsey@DofE.org
Role: Julie manages the office and is responsible for Silver and Gold Presentations, communications, statistics, enquiries, eDofE training and support, health and safety and as well as support for Kate and Joanna.
Julie joined the DofE from Foster Care Associates.

Introduction to the DofE Course
The next Introduction to DofE Course will be taking place on 13th September 2010 from 19.30 – 21.30 at The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Office, 28 Wellington Park, Belfast BT9 6DL and on 16th October 2010 from 09.30 - 17.30 at Lurgan College, College Walk, Lurgan, BT66 6JW. Cost £30.
