Get yourself behind the wheel

London to Florence Rally, 18th – 26th September 2008
This unique rally will take drivers through some of the most spectacular scenery that Europe has to offer, giving the chance to explore new places whilst raising money for a good cause.
En route, the rally will pass through some of Europe’s most magnificent towns and cities, with participants enjoying the finest accommodation and entertainment, as well as exciting driving experiences.
A limited number of places are still available for the London to Florence Rally, which begins with a Royal send off at Windsor Castle and culminates in a gala dinner in The Grand Hotel in Florence.
The London to Florence Rally 2008 is supporting The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the UK’s leading young people’s development charity.  The DofE is open to everyone aged 14 to 24, irrespective of background and ability, and has over 275,000 young people taking part at any one time.
The rally passes through France, Spa in Belgium, Wurzburg in Germany, Salzburg in Austria, Rijeka & Split in Croatia before crossing the Adriatic Sea to Pescara and arriving at the final destination, the beautiful city of Florence.
Highlights include: A pre-rally car inspection at Windsor Castle, hosted by HRH The Earl of Wessex. Experience some of the best Formula 1 circuits in Europe, including Spa Circuit in Belgium, famed for its longest lap length. Sample the hospitality of each region - wine tasting, medieval banquet, beer festival, classical evening. End of rally Florentine Ball at the luxurious Grand Hotel, Florence.
