The Brecon Beacons spreads almost from Llandeilo in the West to Abergavenny in the east encompassing 519 square miles (1344 km²) of some of the wildest and most picturesque areas in Wales.
This incredible natural area probably provides the finest background for DofE expeditions as the sheer diversity of terrain allows for amazing experiences that remain with young people and influences the rest of their lives.
A Beacons Challenge is founded on many solid years of practical experience both taking part in, supervising, and assessing DofE expeditions in the Brecon Beacons and Dartmoor.

Our costs are quite simple: We charge £35 per person per day, based on a minimum of 10 people.
We can supply loan equipment free of charge, including tents, Trangias, fuel, safety fuel bottles, group shelters, maps and personal first aid kits. We do make an appropriate charge for damaged or lost items.
