As part of our Alternative Adventure Education programmes Outdoor Activities Service (OAS) are pleased to offer DofE expedition training and assessment. We are based in the beautiful West Pennine Moors area of Lancashire, but will work with your groups wanting to undertake their expeditions throughout the UK. Expeditions are available on foot, on mountain bike or on water (Open Canoe).
OAS is run by Stuart Igoe and is celebrating 18 years of operation in 2011. Stuart and many of his team have been involved with outdoor education for over 30 years. They are a highly qualified and experienced group of people.
Expeditions
We are offering groups at Bronze Award level a 5 day walking expedition package, based in the West Pennine Moors from £158 plus VAT.
Alternatively they can undertake a Mountain Bike based expedition in the West Penning Moors from £195 plus VAT.
Silver Award: A 7 day walking expedition package based in the West Pennine Moors and Forest of Bowland from £224 plus VAT.
Alternatively they can undertake a Mountain Bike expedition based in the West Pennine Moors from £280 plus VAT.
