OUTDOOR FIRST AID: Chase Training Solutions are delivering a two-day (16 hours) course, 24 – 25 November 2012, suitable for, and recognised by National Governing Bodies, such as Mountain Leader Training UK, Sports Leaders UK, BCU, etc., for their qualifications, i.e. Walking Group Leader Award; Mountain Leader Award; Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership. On successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate which lasts for 3 years. This first aid course is appropriate for those working at all levels of DofE expedition supervision and other outdoor activities that take place in rural or more remote environments. The Interactive, hands-on training, delivered by a recognised HSE training provider, places a lot more emphasis on incident management, monitoring casualties, and relaying information to Ambulance Crews and Mountain Rescue Teams.
