Craghoppers is a British outdoor clothing manufacturer, who have developed an exclusive, brand new range which is approved and recommended by
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Craghoppers and The DofE have worked in partnership together for several years and have conducted extensive field testing to bring you a range of clothing ideal for DofE expeditions. The garments feature technologies such as SolarDry: UPF40+ sun-protective fabric and AquaDry: 100% guaranteed waterproof and breathable fabric, for the variable conditions encountered by DofE participants and Leaders. Products feature designs specifically for younger wearers, including contemporary cuts and colours.
Craghoppers started making clothes specifically designed for the outdoors back in 1965. A group of guys in West Yorkshire were planning to climb Everest and wanted gear to withstand the harshest of conditions, so they researched and designed fabrics that would protect them from the extreme cold. All their preparation paid off as they successfully reached the summit of Everest and this was the birth of Craghoppers.
This is Craghoppers heritage and based in Manchester they have continued to develop fabrics and clothes designed to protect their customers, whatever the conditions. Everything they do is a result of their shared passion for travel and the outdoors. They live to travel and use their knowledge to make sure their products are the best they can possibly be.
