
The DofE in Scotland is supported by a Scottish Advisory Committee (SAC) which comprises key individuals from various sectors in Scotland including youth work, education, outdoor education, business, arts and sports and a young DofE participant.

Glenn Rodger (Chair)

Director of Education and Lifelong Learning, Scottish Borders CouncilGlenn has been Director of Education and Lifelong Learning at Scottish Borders Council since 2002. He trained as a Physical Education Teacher and taught in East Lothian, Midlothian and Edinburgh for 15 years before moving into Education Management with City of Edinburgh Council. Prior to moving to the Borders he was Head of Pupil Support Services with City of Edinburgh Council. Glenn took over from Bruce Robertson OBE as the chair of the Scottish Advisory committee in May 2011.
