with the London Chamber Orchestra at Hampton Court Palace
Thursday 19th July 2012

In celebration of our Monarch’s 60th year on the throne, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is delighted to join with the London Chamber Orchestra for a majestic summer concert at Hampton Court Palace on Thursday 19th July 2012.
The London Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Musical Director Christopher Warren-Green, will perform a selection of summer classics in the Great Hall. The Hall’s treasures include the magnificent 16th Century Flemish tapestries commissioned by Henry VIII and a stunning hammer-beamed ceiling.
Hampton Court Palace, home to some of Britain’s most famous kings and queens, and the setting for many great events for nearly 500 years is a perfect venue for our summer concert!
Concert guests are invited to a pre-concert champagne and canapés reception in the Orangery and, weather permitting, Palace gardens.
