There are some things money can't buy...for everything else there's the Jubilee Fund!
If money is stopping you from doing or finishing your DofE programme you can apply for a grant of up to £150 to help you!  (Or, if your activity is really special, you could ask for a little bit more!)

The only things we want in return are:
  • A photo or written note of what you did
  • Support from your DofE Leader

We might give you money for:

  • Buying or Hiring out equipment
  • One off or Monthly Fees/Membership
  • Transport Costs
We probably won't give you money for:
  • Food and Drink e.g. packed lunches
  • Group equipment e.g. sofas for Youth Centre
  • Expensive activities e.g. skydiving or a £500 Mountain bike

NEW DofE LEADERS:
We are delighted to announce that the Jubilee Fund has recently been extended to support new DofE groups engage with hard to reach young people. If you are establishing a new DofE group in 2008/2009 we want to help you with resources and funds to help attract and support hard to reach young people to complete their DofE programme. We will probably grant money to DofE Leaders to spend on Record Books, weekly club subscriptions, transport to sectional activities, promotion of the DofE and equipment for young people. We probably won’t grant money to cover administration costs, staff overheads and office equipment.
Complete the same application form as the participants, following the additional instructions for DofE Leader applications.
