the DofE brand and use of logo
At the DofE we're very proud of our new look and feel - our brand.
We want to spread the word about the DofE and get a consistent image throughout the UK, whether it's material we produce nationally or items put together by a local DofE group.
For this reason we allow all our licensed Operating Authorities, DofE centres and groups to use our logo. We ask that everyone follows the DofE brand guidelines when creating information about DofE programmes.
To download this information all we ask is that you give us a little bit of info about yourself so we can monitor usage.
Please note, if you are a commercial company or other non-licensed organisation that is interested in using the DofE logo please visit our partner pages for further information.
the new logo in use...
Sue Campbell, Senior Youth Worker for the DofE in North East Lincolnshire, writes in with news of their minibus' new DofE livery...
"We had a new bus donated by a group of local businesspeople called the DRIVE for GRIMSBYGROUP. We had it liveried with the new logo as soon as we could to raise the profile of the DofE locally and of the new look and feel. Everywhere we go in it we get comments and all have been favourable. It opens conversations with supporters of the DofE and with present and previous leaders. Having our own minibuses (we are lucky enough to have two) enables many young people to access DofE activities at reasonable costs and enables them to see countryside they would not normally see - in Lincolnshire we don't do hills, never mind mountains! We also use the bus for promoting the DofE at school presentations and in any way we can and not just for expeditions. It goes to the conservation projects, takes groups to weight training and on visits connected with animal care, photography and many of the other courses we run.
Being the first minibus to have the new logo is something we are very proud of especially as we are also part of one of the newest DofE regions - the Yorkshire and Humber region."
