Badenoch Trust

The Badenoch Trust has made grants to a wide-range of UK organisations since its inception in 2008.

Through grants, our principal aim is to work with charities and third sector organisations that raise the aspirations and improve the life chances of young people.  Despite the huge amount of state support available in the UK, research has consistently shown that independent organisations, often operating on limited budgets, can have the greatest sustained success.

“We are delighted to support the DofE, its ethos fits so well with our wish to help young people improve their life chances whatever their ability or situation.  The values of service, persistence and commitment, combined with positive attitude are more relevant now than ever in our society.  There’s no doubt that Award holders will have a world-renowned qualification that will make them confident and proud.  However, it’s also one that demonstrates their abilities – improving their chances in the workplace and throughout life”
