DofE Business was developed in 2007 to bring the benefits of achieving a DofE Award from school right through to the workplace. The DofE is an integral part of young talent development in leading businesses like Amey, British Gas, DFS and Heathrow. These businesses know the DofE is the proven kitemark of achievement that develops the soft skills young people need for life and work.
Most of our businesses offer Gold DofE Award programmes to complement to the technical training they offer, and have been thrilled with the results. Chief People Officer from Heathrow recently spoke to HR Magazine about the impact of running the DofE in business. We work closely with businesses to integrate the DofE alongside early careers training programmes, ensuring it reflects the business strategy and drives measurable improvements in performance.
In return for a donation to our Charity, we support businesses to deliver the DofE to their young people (14-24 years old), and help them develop the soft skills essential to create the leaders of tomorrow like communication, teamwork and resilience.
