|“After leaving school I wasn’t entirely sure of which direction to take. I’ve always been creative but was unsure how to utilise my skills on a university course and eventually a career. I did a foundation in art in design which set me on the path to becoming a fashion designer which is something I would never have dreamed of being. It was a challenging journey from foundation course, to university and finally to my first menswear position. Since getting my first job I have worked for various luxury brands and started my own womenswear label. I’m now menswear designer at DAKS.”

“My first Accounting role came when I was 18, having completed an electronics/telecommunications course I wasn’t sure which career path to take. From an entry level perspective and with fair numerical/analytic skills there are fair opportunities (coupled with training and studying) in progression to interesting and challenging roles. Working for a fast paced company with regular events, often of a complex nature means each day is different. Numerous deadlines and processes for authorisation require a keen eye to detail, whilst being helpful and efficient as possible for internal and external queries.”
