Downland Cycles is a Cycle Mechanic and Frame Building Training Centre which provides opportunities for learning about the way bikes work, how to identify problems and fix them, where to source parts and compatibility. All this, alongside our frame building centre where you learn about design, brazing and Tig welding steel frames and build your own frame to put all that mechanic training to good use.
All that is left is to ride your self- maintained or hand built bike.
We are proud of our 20 years of developing young and old in the cycle industry from hobby to professional qualifications and are situated in the stunning North Downs of Kent. Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential opportunities are led by a small committed and experienced team, we are passionate about bikes and cycling and making sure you are fed well with home grown and local produce while staying with us.
