Join team DofE for the Forth Bridge Abseil this September and take on the exhilarating and unique challenge and abseiling (free-fall style) a whopping 165ft from the iconic Forth Bridge – Scotland’s best loved landmarks, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Requirements:
We try to be as inclusive as possible, however due to the restrictions of safety equipment in use, you must make sure you meet these requirements to take part in the DofE Abseil Challenge:
- Minimum height – 140cm
- Maximum height – 200cm
- Maximum waist – 120cm
- Maximum thigh – 75cm
- Head circumference: 48-61 cm
- Maximum weight: 18 Stone / 114.3kg
- Able to communicate clearly and follow instruction
- Must be 18 or over to take part
Whether you want to conquer a fear of heights or feel the thrill of a free fall, do it for the DofE charity! You’ll be helping raise vital funds so that more young people from all backgrounds can access the incredible DofE programme.
