Sir Thomas Boughey

Sir Thomas Boughey School in Staffordshire had a group of Bronze participants who were struggling to navigate eDofE. Brett Waring, the Operations Officer for the school went to visit DofE Manager, Cathrine Bryan, to see if he could help.

Brett discussed the app and its benefits with the group of participants and they all decided to download it on their phones. Following the session, the group which had become static on eDofE, is on the move again with three Awards now submitted for verification and a number of other participants showing progress in their Awards.

Cathrine said “I have spoken to members of my current Bronze cohort regarding the app and they all agree the app has made things a lot easier” she continued  “They like the fact that they can see their progress at a glance and that has spurred them on to complete their Bronze Award.”
