New streamlined training for potential Assessors and Supervisors

We’re pleased to introduce a new addition to the DofE’s Modular Training Framework, the Expedition Assessor and Supervisor Training Course (EASTC). This new course removes the duplication between the two previous courses, EAAS and ESTC, streamlining training for potential Assessors and Supervisors – now a joint role.

The course equips Expedition Assessors and Supervisors with the practical knowledge and understanding of the principles and conditions of the Expedition section to ensure participants enjoy a safe and high-quality expedition.

Potential Assessors or Supervisors won’t be trained in the technical expedition skills required for these roles, or on how to organise an expedition or train expedition groups – this course focuses on the role of the Assessor and Supervisor. However, with new e-learning to support the course it, the new combined course saves both time and money.

Those wishing to accredit as Assessors after the course can do via eDofE.
