Spotlight on Celebrating Achievement

This hour long interactive session will spotlight how we celebrate the achievements of young people and the impact that the DofE has made on them. You will have the opportunity to discuss ideas with other leaders and think about how you can introduce, develop or improve your own events.

Spotlight on Expedition Flexibilities

This hour long interactive session will recap the expedition flexibilities that exist for the whole of this year and will offer the opportunity to look at some of the case studies from last year. With time for working in small groups to problem solve issues for this summer, the workshop is designed to help leaders plan expeditions making the most of the flexibilities available.

Spotlight on Volunteering

This hour long interactive session will spotlight how centres can support young people to engage in meaningful volunteering opportunities, regardless of location or circumstance. Offering suggestions and support the session will also allow time for discussion with other delegates for sharing ideas and peer to peer support.

Spotlight on Keeping DofE relevant

This hour long interactive session looks at how leaders can help young people to chose activities that are relevant to them, inspire them and fit with a modern lifestyle. The session will offer the opportunity for discussions with other leaders and will allow you to think about how you can support young people to choose interesting activities for this generation.

Spotlight on Verifier

This session is designed to support existing Award Verifiers with the verification of awards submitted under the temporary changes to the programme. It will look at the requirements and the changes to give verifiers confidence to approve awards in the current situation.
