Connor’s NHS fundraising
15 year old Connor Loughlin is a Year 10 student at Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech.
In his spare time, Connor enjoys swimming for his local swim club – Wisbech Swim Club, competing in Triathlons for PacTrac Peterborough and playing rugby for West Norfolk Rugby Club. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, like most DofE participants, he is now isolating at home and trying to maintain his fitness.
Connor has been inspired by Captain Tom Moore and Mrs Margaret Payne who have both raised significant amounts of money for the NHS. For his DofE Volunteering section, Connor, who is recovering from a foot injury, has committed to the challenge of raising £500 for the NHS by running 500 miles.
Connor has already successfully smashed his target and has currently raised an impressive £883.
