Introduction to the DofE

A one-day course designed for new Leaders introducing them to the programme, and structure of the DofE.

Expedition Supervisors Training Course

A one-day course intended to sit alongside the delegates outdoor skills, for those that will be supervising DofE expeditions.

Expedition Assessors Accreditation Scheme

A required course for all those wishing to become an Accredited Assessor for the Expedition section.

DofE Managers Induction

A one-day course for new DofE Managers in the Central England Region, giving information about their role and responsibilities.

First Aid Courses and Teaching Participants First Aid

Our 8 hour or 16 hour Outdoor First Aid courses will validate NGB awards, and our Teaching Participants First Aid course will support you to deliver first aid training to your participants.

DofE Expedition Skills Course (DES)

This three day course will give leaders basic skills in navigation, campcraft and expedition planning so that they can support expeditions within their centre.

DofE Award Verifiers

This course for new Verifiers in the Central England Region includes part of the Introduction to the DofE course, as well as specific training for the Verifier’s role.

Lowland Leader Courses

We offer Lowland Leader Training, Assessment and Expedition Skills Module courses which support leaders to deliver expeditions in their centres.

Hill and Moorland Courses

Training and Assessment courses allow leaders to work in Hill and Moorland areas leading expedition teams, including in some Wild Country areas.
