All unaccompanied practice and qualifying DofE expeditions must have an Expedition Notification Number.
All participants undertaking expeditions should be registered on eDofE before notification forms are submitted.
From 1 January 2016 the DofE/JAI NI Office will issue expedition notification numbers to all groups for expeditions taking place in Northern Ireland.

Expeditions provided by Approved Activity Providers
DofE/JAI centres must obtain permission to use an AAP from their LO prior to the start of training or an expedition. LO approval is required for all unaccompanied practice and qualifying DofE/JAI expeditions.
Green Forms for AAP expeditions
If your centre is registered with the Education Authority please send your form to the person you would previously have submitted these to as detailed above.
Blue Forms for AAP expeditions
Send your Blue Form, route cards, maps/tracings and details of the Expedition voucher (if an Assessor is required) to the person you would previously have submitted these to as detailed above. Once approved the LO will then send the Blue Form, route cards, maps/tracings to: [email protected] or by post to AAP Blue Form, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Gulliver House, Madeira Walk, Windsor, SL4 1EU.
DofE/JAI expeditions must be assessed by an accredited DofE Expedition Assessor registered by the DofE and/or your LO. If you need an Assessor and your LO is unable to provide one you will need to purchase an expedition voucher through ASL and send along with your Green Form, route cards, maps/tracings.
