DofE Participants create community garden

Participants at Churchill Academy & Sixth Form transformed the patch of land into a community garden for their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Volunteering section. The land is next to the picturesque Strawberry line in North Somerset, and was cleared with paths, a bench and planting added to create a welcoming space for all.

Louis Green, Alasdair Armour, Jacob Griffiths and Alastair McWhinney who are participating in the Award at Silver and Gold levels, secured donations of materials from local businesses and put many hours of labour into creating this beautiful spot for all in the community to enjoy.
