Aspen Outdoors Ltd will be running Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Residentials on the following dates:

10-14 July 2023

13-17 October 2023

These residentials give participants the chance to learn lots of outdoor skills like shelter building, making a fire, rope-making and using cutting tools like knives and axes to carve and whittle.

The course also incorporates the Mountain Training Mountain Skills Course. This 18-hour course is a great way to learn the essential skills you will need to enjoy the mountains in the UK safety. Whether you’d like to feel more confident using a map, you have ambitions to climb Everest or become a Mountain Leader, a Mountain Skills course is a great first step. Aspen Outdoors Ltd is an approved provider of this Mountain Training Course.

The course is fully catered, breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal is included in the price. Accommodation is in Teepee tents.
