This 5 day course will teach you the skills to enable you to ski in the Backcountry safely.

You will learn safe route choice, avalanche awareness and weather interpretation, rope work and much, much more.

Accommodation is in a self catered bunkhouse in Kincraig near Aviemore. Please note you must at least be an intermediate basic parallel skier to attend this course. If you require guidance on this or are in any way unsure please get in touch to discuss.

The course price includes coaching costs, hire of skis, transceivers shovels and probes, maps and compasses. Additional costs may be incurred with ski passes depending on the locations chosen for skiing. Numbers will be limited to 2 groups of 6 to ensure a good ratio of coaching.
