Because It’s There Adventures – Outdoor Activities, Leadership and Outdoor First Aid

A great starting point for developing the skills in range of outdoor activities and completing your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Residential. Activities will include: Archery, paddlesports (with a variety of craft on a lake and river), team building & leadership, outdoor cooking, bushcraft, axe throwing.

The 16 hour regulated Outdoor First Aid course will equip you to manage incidents in the outdoors where help may take some time to get to you. The course focusses on learning by experience and we won’t be spending much time in the classroom. Outdoor First Aid is required to validate many National Governing Body leadership awards.

Dates: 24th – 28th July 2021.

Venue: Beale Park, Lower Basildon, Pangbourne, Berkshire RG8 9NW

Fees: £395 Includes: Instruction, Camp fees, Outdoor First Aid Certification, Food. Does not include: travel).

What to bring: Personal equipment for 5 days (4 nights) camping. If you don’t have some items of equipment we are usually able to provide most things for hire but please let us know in advance as these items are not kept on site
