Bright Green Future – Volunteering Opportunity

Bright Green Future is an exciting new programme for teenagers. It’ s a unique opportunity to learn about sustainable energy and environmental decision making. During the two year programme you’ll take part in training, a work placement and a summer camp. We’ll also help you to run an environmental project in your local area.

You’ll finish the programme with more knowledge, confidence and skills to be able to make a difference, both in your local community and by influencing the way decisions affecting the environment are made. You’ll also be improving your career prospects and complementing your academic work with real insight into sustainability issues, project management and decision making.

Bright Green Futures is managed by the Centre for Sustainable Energy and is part of a Big Lottery funded project called Our Bright Future, aimed at empowering young people to lead progressive change in their communities and local environment.
