Bristol Family Cycling Centre in Hengrove, South Bristol, offers cycling opportunities for all ages and abilities using our range of two-wheeled and inclusive bikes. We provide learn to ride sessions for children and adults and cycling sessions for people with physical disabilities and learning difficulties using our traffic-free track and paths.
We have a range of volunteering opportunities at the Centre and can tailor them to suit the interests of different volunteers. These include:
Working alongside our bike instructors to get bikes ready for clients; assisting the instructors during sessions; welcoming and registering users; providing admin and catering help; providing social media assistance; and gardening.
We can provide volunteering opportunities during the day and on Saturdays all year round and after school from Easter to September. Volunteers of all ages welcome.
We can also offer bike maintenance skills for the DofE skills section.
