Take part in the prestigious Tall Ships’ Race Event, sailing from Den Helder in The Netherlands to Hartlepool, UK.

By joining this voyage on our vessel Faramir you will become an active member of crew, taking part in an exciting an exhilarating race across the North Sea to Hartlepool. Arriving in Den Helder, participants join in the fleet wide, shore-based festivities before setting sail with the spectacular Tall ship’s fleet.

The voyage includes food and the provision of waterproofs and safety equipment.

No experience required; participants will have varying degrees of experience from nothing to keen sailors.

Participants can work towards their RYA Start Yachting or Competent Crew accreditation and can also complete their DofE Gold Residential during the voyage.

During the dates of the voyage, the age requirement is 16 – 24 years old.

Price does not include travel to Den Helder. Individuals are responsible for organising their own travel to and from the boat.

The cost is £700 per person (full cost without the optional bursary is £1000).
