Conservation Residential – Footpath maintenance

A residential is being run by the Cheviot and Border Hills Network alongside their open gold expedition. Based in North Northumberland we will be operating from the small hamlet of Kirknewton in North Northumberland. Participants arrive on Sunday the 12th July 2020 and depart the following Friday morning. The cost this year will be £190.00 and includes accommodation and all meals. Transport to and from Berwick upon Tweed station will be provided if needed.

The project for the week will be to improve and maintain some of the public footpaths around the North Cheviots, within Northumberland National Park. This project will include design, planning and then the implementation of reinstating some footpaths and maintaining others.
