The Site Decor Make Week team creates large sculptural signs, decorates venue interiors with stage sets and canopies, and brings vibrant colour to the site. Our goal is to enliven the space by creating focal points, distinctive places, and characterful venues.

You’ll be part of a team of around 15 volunteers and are the very first volunteer team to arrive on site, the whole festival will come alive over the days you are on site. We work in a purpose-built barn workshop and camp in a nearby field.

This team is perfect if you want to use your skills—carpentry, painting, large-scale crafting, sewing—to create decorative elements like stage sets, outdoor sculptures, and signs. You might be working in or studying stage or theatre design, or have hands-on experience with sign writing, painting, construction, furniture or product design, fabric crafts (sewing and upholstery), architecture, welding, or metalwork.
