We are looking for a musical buddy to assist people supported in Sheffield with playing instruments and listening to music.
Do you play any instruments and adore listening to music? Enjoy having a bit of a boogie? Well this volunteering opportunity is the perfect way to enjoy expanding your tastes and share your passion with another music fan.
Activities will include • Supporting in playing musical instruments. • Chats about everything a music fan loves.
Activities will not include • Financial assistance. • Personal care. • Medical assistance.
We are looking for someone who is: • Friendly • A good listener • Reliable/dependable • Comfortable chatting with people with learning disabilities and autism • Polite • Willing to commit to volunteer regularly
This volunteering activity is only available for participants over the age of 18.
Dimensions provides support for around 3,500 other people with learning disabilities and autism across the UK. We help them to live more independently and access their local communities.
If you’re interested in the role, but would like to meet the adults before making a commitment, to ensure you are happy with the role – this is fine. We would recommend that this is only available to Silver and Gold Award participants
