At Flora’s Kitchen students learn how to cook great tasting, nutritious food with confidence and have huge fun with it. In five busy days they will acquire all the essential skills needed to competently recreate not only family stalwarts but also more sophisticated dinner party dishes. They will also have an informal chat by a nutritionist who will give a gentle introduction to food and choosing an optimum diet. All set in gorgeous Hampshire countryside, while enjoying the comforts of Flora’s lovely home.
The University Basics course is perfect for those with little or no experience in the kitchen. Students will make their lunch, tea and dinner and will soon master the glorious art of pastry making, soufflés, soups, roasts, the perfect gravy, to name but a few. They will also be taught about cooking on a budget, shopping, kitchen hygiene and the importance of a balanced diet. They will leave with exciting new recipes to use time and time again.
After all the cooking, there’s plenty of fun to be had out of the kitchen too. With a swimming pool, tennis court, croquet lawn and spacious garden for outdoor activities and a fully-equipped games room for inside entertainment.
