Foodworks – Residential cookery course in the Cotswolds

Residential Cookery course for Gold DofE participants.
We are a family run Cookery School Based in the heart of the Cotswolds on a private country estate.
We have been running DofE Gold courses for over 7 years, our courses are taught by professional chefs who help inspire and build confidence in students heading off to uni or looking for holiday work.
Our course is perfect for students heading off to uni as well as for those completing the residential component of the DofE Gold Award. We cover food safety, knife skills, cooking for dinner parties, cooking for the freezer, international cookery (including Thai, Italian, Indian) quick healthy dishes plus some delicious dessert ideas. The course also gives a basic foundation to students looking for employment either in their gap year or holidays.
Each day ends with a relaxed and fun dinner party. Additional activities include a clay shoot competition run by our neighbouring shooting school, tennis, croquet and foraging on the estate.
