FSC Dale Fort, Pembrokeshire: Snorkelling for Marine Biology
This British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) accredited course is run in partnership with the Marine Biological Association (MBA). It is suitable for young people between 16 and 24 years old. It will qualify you as a BSAC Snorkel Diver while giving you the opportunity to learn about marine biology and marine conservation with other like-minded young people. Aimed particularly at beginners to snorkelling aged 16-19, it will cover practical skills and theory sessions. Each day will take you on a new adventure at a magnificent Pembrokeshire coastal site. Time out of the water will be spent finding out more about marine species and marine conservation and viewing the ocean from land along the Pembrokeshire coast path. All snorkelling kit and other equipment can be provided. This course ends at noon on 26th July – early booking is recommended as places are limited.
The fee includes one year’s free Young Marine Biologist (YMB) or student membership of the Marine Biological Association for new and existing members.
