FSC Dale Fort: Snorkelling for Marine Biology

This British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) accredited course is run in partnership with the Marine Biological Association (MBA). It is aimed at young people between 16 and 24 years old. It will qualify you as a BSAC Snorkel Diver while giving you the opportunity to learn about marine biology and marine conservation with other like-minded young people.

Aimed at beginners to snorkelling, it will cover practical skills and theory sessions. Each day will take you on a new adventure at a magnificent Pembrokeshire coastal site. Time out of the water will be spent finding out more about marine species and marine conservation and viewing the ocean from land along the Pembrokeshire coast path. All snorkelling kit and other equipment can be provided.

The fee includes one year’s free Young Marine Biologist (YMB) or student membership of the Marine Biological Association for new and existing members. A limited number of MBA travel bursaries are available for existing MBA student and YMB members at: http://www.mba.ac.uk/research-top-3/awards-grants-and-training#b22
