Gold bushcraft residential by Cambridgeshire County Council – August 2017

A residential focused on bushcraft skills include fire lighting, shelter building, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging, hand-carving wood, container construction from natural materials, and rope and twine-making, among others. As part of the week we hope to organize a conservation task in the woodland.

Where: A privately owned woodland near Grafham Water, Perry, Cambridgeshire.

When: Saturday 19th August 11am to Wednesday 23rd Aug 3pm

Access: By car to Grafham Water, then on foot

Meet at: Grafham Water Fishing Lodge, Perry, Huntingdon, PE28 0BX at 11am

Finish at: Grafham Water Fishing Lodge, Perry, Huntingdon, PE28 0BX at 3pm.

Price: £180 (Discounted to £160 for Cambridgeshire County Council, Hertfordshire County Council and Suffolk County Council participants)

What do you need: Basic camping/walking equipment (tents are provided), plus lots of enthusiasm and a smile.

Includes: All food and all specialist equipment.
