This is a great way to safely do your Gold expedition on the water. The Bell Boat is a 30ft long catamaran style canoe, designed for 12 people but we put upto 8 on each boat. The course consists of a training day in Tonbridge, Kent. Then we have a three day practice expedition in Wiltshire along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Finally you complete a four day qualifier on the Thames, starting in Runnymede and finishing 64 miles later in Abingdon!!

We wild camp on islands in the middle of the Thames and enjoy great scenery, immersing yourself in the nature of the river. This is also a great expedition for those who haven’t completed Bronze or Silver walking expeditions.

We currently have three packages available –
Benson Package has the practice 26-28 October and the qualifier 11-14 July 2023 (great for avoiding exam season)

Sonning Package has the practice 3-5 April and the qualifier 21-24 August 2023

Whitchurch Package has the practice 4-6 April and the qualifier 22-25 August
