Join our Open Gold expedition on October 30th – November 3rd this year.
This expedition can be either your practice or your assessed expedition.

Arrival: 14:30 October 30th. Skipton.
Finish: 16:00 Nov 3rd. Ribblehead Train Station.
Price: £314 (£282 if booked before 18/9/23)

You will arrive at the base camp in Skipton. Here you will meet your team, review your route, and your supervisor will go through the various pre-expedition checks ready to set off the following morning. Over the following four days you will journey through some of the best that the Yorkshire Dales National Park has to offer, finishing your expedition at Ribblehead. (Start and end points may vary).

The price includes Mountain Leader-qualified supervision, and all campsite fees. Stoves, fuel and tents are provided, and items of personal kit (waterproofs, sleeping bags etc) can also be borrowed at no extra cost.
Our open expeditions are accessible by public transport, starting and finishing at – or within taxi distance of – train stations.
