In 2023 we are running a Gold Open Expedition package that includes the training course, practice expedition and a choice of qualifying (AKA “assessed”) expeditions.
You can select any of the following to suit your needs.

• 24-26th July. Training course. Yorkshire Dales. Arrival 14:30 on the 24th.
• 26-29th July. Practice Expedition. Arrival 17:00 on the 26th.
• 7-11th August. Assessed expedition in the Lake District. Arrival 14:30 on the 7th.
• Oct 30 – Nov 3rd. Assessed or expedition in the Yorkshire Dales. Arrival 14:30 on the 30th.

The training course takes place at our regular site near Shipley in West Yorkshire. We then use this as the base camp for the practice expedition. Those that are joining us for the training course will therefore be in the right place ready for the practice expedition.

The package is modular and it possible to book just the parts of it that you need. For example, if you have already got an assessed expedition arranged, you could do just the training and practice with Lupine.

All our open expeditions and training courses are accessible by public transport; starting and finishing either at – or within taxi distance of – train stations.
