What’s included?
• Dormitory accommodation at Stubbington Study Centre, situated close to the beach, right on the south coast.
• All meals
• Evening activities including badger watching at the Hide.

What’s involved?
This project aims to improve access to parts of the Centre’s 14-acre site for the thousands of visitors that stay at the Centre each year. This involves physical, outdoor work that might include:
• Helping to give parts of the site better access – maintaining and improving the existing paths to improve access.
• Working in and around ponds on site, to aid access and develop and improve habitats
• Cutting back / coppicing mature shrubs and trees
• Clearing of invasive scrub and grass.
• Planting of new mixed hedgerows and trees.
• Improving signage, fencing, etc to aid visitor interaction, experience and understanding.
• Maintaining and developing sites for small mammal trapping activities.
This project is about the land. As well as working on the specific development projects, participants may also:
• Spend some time discovering more about their role and skills required for the job.
• Learn more about the different habitats that can be found within Stubbington Study Centre and have opportunities to observe resident wildlife.
• Explore coastal and wetland habitats within the locality of Stubbington Study Centre
• Develop teambuilding and communication skills within a supportive and positive environment, alongside like-minded peers.
