Hampshire County Council are thrilled to offer a 5 day/4-night Film Making and Screen Acting Residential, in conjunction with Bright Movement Performing Arts. A fabulous chance to learn about and develop your film making skills and screen acting! Learn about the skills for pre-production, take part in a film shoot and then see your project through post-production.
Where: The New Forest, Minstead Study Centre
When: Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2020
•Over the five days you will look at the key skills that are vital to film making. Day 1 will primarily focus on pre-production, with an emphasis on story-lining, scriptwriting, scheduling, creating shot lists and location hunting.
•Days 2-4 will be shoot days where you will film the project that you planned on day 1.
•The final day will be dedicated to post production. You will review the footage and begin to learn techniques for editing.
•Guided by our industry experts, you will learn ‘on the job’ rather than sat down in a classroom.
•Industry experts teaching you all you need to know about film making and screen acting
•Accommodation in one of the most beautiful settings in Hampshire
•Transport from the train station to Minstead Study Centre on the first and last day
