Head for the Hill – Gold Conservation Residential – Staffordshire – February 2024

Work with the National Trust on Kinver Edge, a beautiful local Heathland. Heathland is now an increasingly rare habitat in Europe. Important for reptiles, birds, bats, moths, heathland has great ecological value. The National Trust are also responsible for the upkeep and development of the famous sandstone rock houses – a vital part of the industrial history of the local area.
Maintaining this area of outstanding beauty is a passion for many volunteers. You can join them during the day and learn all about their work.
