Kissing it Better (KiB) is an award-winning charity specialising in the skills required for the care of others. It is highly regarded by universities and employers.
The training activity KiB provides cover a range of important skills including communication, project planning, teamwork, understanding dignity and respect, and the principles of healthcare particularly with older or vulnerable people.
The Bronze and Silver courses are taught online (via Zoom) and are lively, fun and interactive. While they will be of particular interest to those aspiring to work in medicine/healthcare, the life skills you will gain are also highly valued in fields such as law, education, social care, customer service/retail, the media, and any area where effective communication is essential.
As the courses are held via Zoom they are ideal for any student with mobility issues, those living abroad, or those who prefer not to take part in courses away from home.
KiB has been an approved activity provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award for many years and this skills course is provided as a response to demand from interested students who have already completed our volunteering opportunities.
