YESS Foundation-UK – Learn enterprise skills for your Skills. – Online

Learn confidence, communication, planning and budgeting skills by developing and pitching a business idea in this online programme for young people aged 12–22.

This online activity enables young people to build confidence, communication, planning and budgeting skills through completing a structured project and pitching a business idea. Each week, participants join a live online session where they are introduced to tools and activities that develop practical life and future skills. They will learn how to plan and organise their ideas, research simple costs, communicate clearly with others and prepare a presentation.

Between sessions, participants complete small tasks such as brainstorming ideas, writing plans, setting goals, researching information, creating simple budgets and practising how to explain their idea clearly. They will take part in discussions and receive feedback in a supportive environment to help develop their communication and presentation skills.

The activity concludes with a final online pitch where participants present their completed project. This allows them to demonstrate progress in confidence, planning, clarity and communication. Skills developed through this activity are transferable to school, college, apprenticeships, employment and personal projects. No specialist equipment or prior knowledge is needed.
